Q: How much experience do I need to take a course?
A: None. Honor Ridge Tactical (HRT) offers a wide range of courses for all levels of shooters. We offer courses that cater to individuals who have never handled a firearm to shooters who are intermediate and advanced level students.
Q: What type of equipment do I need?
A: All of our students need hearing protection, eye protection, a baseball style cap and need to have weather appropriate clothing. Closed toe footware, pants and long sleeve shirts are recommended. Students are more than welcome to bring water and food.
Q: What type of firearm should/can I bring?
A: Any. HRT and its staff members are knowledgable and experienced in the majority of firearms platforms. Please be sure to include the make and model of your firearm in the message box of your registration form so that HRT can assign the most knowledgeable staff member to you. Q: What payments do you accept?
A: Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
Q: Do I need a pistol permit to take handgun courses?
A: Yes. Students electing to take handgun training courses must have a valid New York State Pistol Permit. The handgun you want to train with must be on your valid permit.
Q: How old do I need to be to take a training course?
A: You must be at least 21 years of age to register for a handgun training course.
Q: What certifications do your instructors have?
A: All of HRT's staff members are New York State Certified Firearms Instructors and have all completed the Honor Ridge Tactical Instructor Development Course.
Q: How many people can you train at once?
A: HRT can accomodate most group sizes. For groups larger than 5 people, please contact us at (315) 413-1427 prior to registration.

A: No. Join the Navy.
